Each Sunday morning during Gathered Worship (10:30-11:50) there is a program of activities for pre-teenage children under the umbrella of Value Builders.  Currently Value Builders is separated between a younger group for children up to and including reception (rising 5s) and an older group for school years 1 to 8.  Teenagers have separate provision (in Teen Church).

10:30-10:45 the whole church meets together after which the younger children, older children and teens/adults have separate activities, which varies by sunday of the month as follows:

Teenagers meet each Sunday alternating between during the morning service (10:45-11:50) and after the morning service (12:30pm-2:30pm).

We meet in the morning service (10:45-11:50) on the 2nd sunday of each month where activities include games, discussion, bible study, prayer and social justice (e.g. Amnesty International).

On the last Sunday of each month following the morning gathered worship there is a bring and share lunch. Children are welcome when accompanied.

In the first week of the school Summer holiday at the end of July we take part with other local churches in the Cherry Hinton Holiday Bible Club.  Started in 1991 in St Andrew's church, the club takes up to 200 primary school aged children.

During the year we take part in activities with other churches:

Each Spring on Good Friday we have a walk of witness starting at St Andrew's.  We stop five times for a reading, a song and a prayer.  We finish with tea and coffee at Dorrington's.  In 2012 we are joining with St Andrew's for their Ash Wednesday communion service

Each September at the Cherry Hinton Festival we have a joint stall with other churches

Each December we sing carols outside Dorrington's.
