Messy Play and Messy Church

Messy activities are provided for pre-school children each Tuesday in term time in the Family Centre from 9:15 to 11:15am. One Week each half term is advertised as Messy Church, with a more dominant Bible theme.  Messy Pay is staffed by Christians in Cherry Hinton who attend a variety of churches (although the majority attend CHBC).

Messy Play is a toddler's group for parents and toddlers that lives up to its name. Our song says it all:

“I’ve got glue on my hands,
I’ve got sand in my shoes,
I’ve got paint on my nose,
I’ve made a picture for you.
I’ve come to sing and dance and
have lots of fun.
I’m glad I came here today
Because it’s Messy Play!”

Hundreds of children in Cherry Hinton cherish happy toddler memories of their time here. Where else can you make a mess which Mummy doesn’t have to clear up? If you’ve never experienced this phenomenon then come visit (with or without children) from 9.15am on Tuesdays during school terms.
