Friday Friends

Friday Friends is a meeting place for senior citizens.  The group meets weekly throughout the year between 1:30 and 3:30pm each Friday.  Typically there is a craft table, a knitting table, a card table and a scrabble table.  There is tea and cake, a general knowledge quiz and a short epilogue. On 20th April 2012 Friday friends celebrated its 5th birthday (see photo below)

Each term there is an outing and also a roast meal (see photos below). In addition, each month there is CHAT: Church at Lunch time which is specifically designed for senior citizens.
